So my passport came in the mail today and I'm super excited! I've mailed a photocopy to Пётр and he'll be getting it to Катя tomorrow or the day after to file for the visa. Planning to be spend 17 April through 17 July in Moscow, with a trip to Saratov definitely on the agenda, and possibly a trip to St. Petersburg as well. As it stands right now, I have several students from Пётр's University lined up for English tutoring, and my plan is to try to make enough business contacts that I can get an actual job teaching English and extend my trip indefinitely.
Not a lot to report for now, but I will update when I know more about the status of my visa, and I plan to update at least once a day once I arrive in Russia! Check my Twitter account for more frequent updates! :)
